The options for baby toys really are endless, from rattles and squeaky toys to soft cuddly animals and specially designed toys for chewing. Any new parents will welcome baby toys as a gift, and no one can ever predict which toy will become their child?s favourite until they choose for themselves.

Baby toys should be soft, with rounded edges, and not contain any small parts, such as buttons, that could present a choking hazard. They should also be non-toxic and carry the CE symbol. Aim for bright, primary colours to attract their interest, as well as interesting shapes and sounds. One of the all time favourite baby toys is the mobile, which not only has interesting colours and shapes, but also lights, sounds and movement too.
