About Michael Kors Purses
Michael Kors is an American fashion designer, who was born in New York in 1959. His love of designing clothing began when he was a teenager, when he used to create garments which he sold from his parents' basement.
Although he began a course at a fashion institute, he dropped out after just 9 months and began working in a boutique opposite Bergdorf Goodman, where he was given space in the boutique to sell his own designs. He was discovered by Bergdorf's fashion buyer soon after, and his career as a fashion designer started to flourish.
In addition to clothing for both men and women, items produced by Michael Kors include shoes, handbags, accessories and jewellery, as well as purses and wallets. Over the years, the designer has created purses in a wide range of sizes, styles, colours and patterns to suit a wide range of different tastes.
Some Michael Kors purses will feature the MK logo, others have the designer's name spelled out in full, while others have no visible logo whatsoever. Styles vary from clutch style purses to smaller purses and wristlets, which have a strap to attach it to the wrist for safety.
The materials from which Michael Kors purses are created also vary from model to model. The designer uses a number of different types of leather with a range of finishes, including metallic purses, matt leather, gloss leather and other options. Many of his purses are large enough to fit a smart phone, along with other necessities.
