About Monster High Clawd Wolf
The Monster High range was originally developed in 2007 and launched by Mattel in 2010. Clawd Wolf is one of the students at Monster High. He and his fellow students make up a range of dolls, for the most part based on monster movie characters including Dracula, Frankenstein?s monster and, in Clawd?s case, the Wolf-man. The Clawd Wolf doll may be sold individually, however, Mattel has also packaged him in a twin pack together with his girlfriend, Draculaura, and sold them as a set. Clawd Wolf may also be sold together with certain outfits such as those for the music festival or the Sweet 1600th, or with accessories such as his pet, a gargoyle bulldog called Rockseena, or his journal.
Many of the Monster High dolls, especially those from the First Wave collection, are becoming harder to find and are therefore acquiring value as collectables. Some items from the subsequent Waves have now also gained collectable status. Prices for Clawd Wolf and the other Monster High dolls that are still sealed in their original packaging can attract buyers who are prepared to pay prices that are considerably higher than their original retail value to acquire them. This is particularly the case with the boy dolls which can be more difficult to come by than the ghouls, such as Draculaura, Lagoona Blue and Cleo de Nile. Pre-owned dolls which have been removed from their original packaging, especially those which are in less than excellent condition, on the other hand, can be bought at a much lower price. Broken Clawd Wolf dolls, which can be used for part to repair other dolls, may also be available to buy.
