Mountain bike suspension forks are important factors on how a bike rides on rough terrain. The forks use a hydraulic speed-lock or coil spring to absorb shock while riding. Being made of steel, they are able to handle any amount of wear or tear your bike may be put through.

Though suitable for most mountain bikes with a 26-inch wheel, some forks are only V-Brake compatible, while others can work with disc brakes and are I.C.E. compatible. By upgrading your mountain bike suspension forks, you are giving yourself better control and a smoother ride.
