Published by Frederick Warne & Co. between 1937 and 2003, the Observer's Books were a series of pocketsize publications intended to educate children on various topics such as history, art, hobbies, and wildlife. Over the years, the books have become collector's items.

The first Observer's book was published in 1937 and it covered the subject of British birds. A copy of the first edition in mint condition is worth hundreds of pounds.
