About Potterton Suprima PCB
Potterton is one of the world?s leading manufacturers of boilers, and has been for more than 150 years. The company ? which has sold over 5 billion boilers ? was founded in 1850 by Thomas Potterton in London. In 1908, the company made the first ever multiple installations of gas boilers, and by the 1920s, Potterton boilers were appearing at destinations as prestigious as Downing Street.
Potterton launched its famous Diplomat gas fired boilers in the 1960s, selling its millionth boiler overall at the end of the decade. Its award-winning, innovative Netaheat wall hung boiler was introduced to the world in 1973 and its successor, the Profile boiler, was launched in 1988.
Boilers from Potterton can be found in homes and workplaces all across the UK. Today, Potterton is part of the BAXI group, which in turn is part of BDR Thermea, one of Europe?s most famous boiler designers and manufacturers.
The Potterton 5112178 PCB (printed circuit board) fits all upgraded Potterton Suprima 30-40-50-60-70-80 and 100 models that have had the new wiring loom and PCB kits added to them. This PCB fits kit 5511603.
It can be far more economical to repair or upgrade a boiler rather than choosing to replace it. When regular servicing occurs, you can extend the shelf-life of your boiler and keep it functioning for much longer. The PCB is often referred to as the ?brain? of a boiler, ensuring that all the parts work together.
