About Pure Acetone 500 Ml
Acetone is best known as being the main ingredient in nail polish remover, but it actually has a number of common uses. A powerful cleaning product, it is used in many laboratories for deep cleaning professional equipment, including 3D printers. Its corrosive properties mean it can get rid of the most powerful dirt, and dissolve household glues.
Remove any old remnants of stickers and sticky price tags by rubbing acetone over them ? the sticky patches will just disappear. For more stubborn sticky stains, soak in acetone mixed with warm water.
Acetone acts as a great paint thinner, but use sparingly or your colour will appear watered down. Add a few drops to an old bottle of nail polish and shake for 2 minutes to thin out old clumps, and give your favourite colour a new life.
Acetone is strong enough to be used to remove Shellac or acrylic nails, but keep a good moisturiser or nail cream on hand to counteract any mild corrosive effect on the nails.
Pure acetone can come in industrial and all-purpose sizes, but for use in the home or office, a pure acetone 500ml bottle will suffice. If you are using acetone for cleaning purposes, consider a spray nozzle instead of a screw cap bottle.
As with any chemical, use acetone carefully. It is highly flammable, so keep it away from naked flames and heat. Store it in a cool, dark, dry place which is well away from children. When using pure acetone, wear rubber gloves, and make sure you screw the cap on tightly between uses.
