About Santas Grotto
Every child loves to visit Santa's Grotto at Christmas - and probably a lot of adults too!
If you're building a Santa's Grotto, you'll want to make sure you've got all the essentials: a tree, decorations, snow, presents, elves, and of course Santa himself! You might also want a Mrs Santa, maybe some entertainment for the children waiting outside. A snowman! The possibilities really are endless.
And then there are the costumes to think about: what will your elves look like? What will their outfits look like? Will they need fake ears? Will there be boy elves and girl elves, or just one or the other? Will their outfits all match or be different? Will Santa's beard cover his whole face, or just part of it? Will it be long or short? Will he wear glasses? Will his hat have a white fluffy pom pom on the end? Does he need a fake belly (to shake when he laughs, like a bowl full of jelly)? And of course, he needs a sack for all of his presents!
What sort of snow do you want? Will you have fake snow on the roof, or just on the floor outside? Will you include glitter? What about fairy lights?
And then there are the visiting children... where will they wait to visit Santa? Of course, you'll need wrapping paper to wrap their gifts, but what gifts do you intend to give out? Will you give out stickers to say "I visited Santa's Grotto?"
These are all things you will need to consider when thinking about Santa's Grotto... or you could just do away with all of it, and get a Santa's Grotto bouncy castle instead!
