About Sorbothane Feet
Every time you turn on your stereo system, it seems like all you hear is the rattle of your speakers against the TV cabinet. Stick a set of sorbothane feet onto the bottoms of your speakers and watch the vibrations cease. Apply the shock absorbent pads to the bottoms of your speakers and bass in sets of at least four pads to keep it balanced. Larger, heavier items will squish down the pads, so it may be important to purchase thicker feet than with small speakers. Decide whether you need self-adhesive feet or ones that screw into the base of a vibrating object. Some pads, which are available on eBay, are flat slices either circular or square while other ones are hemispherical. In addition to putting them on the bottom of audio equipment, attach larger feet to the base of your washing machine and dryer to absorb up to 94.7 percent of the vibrations.
