About TaylorMade Rocketbladez Irons
Taylormade's Rocketbladez Irons have a stylish and modern look about them, with a clearly visible 2mm hole on the sole of the club. The area around the hole vibrates, flexes and rebounds when you hit the ball. The hole increases the speed on the club's face, and allows for faster ball speed that will land on a high-sloped angle allowing the ball to stop quickly after it lands.
Research shows that 72 percent of shots made with iron clubs come from the lower half of the club's face - this is the main reason why Taylormade designed the Rocketbladez with the 'speedhole' in place. Coated with a specially designed polyurethane, the Speed Pocket stops vibrations from moving up the club to the player's hands. This makes the Rocketbladez Irons a joy to play with, with no uncomfortable vibrations putting you off your game. TaylorMade (the company behind Rocketbladez), have also incorporated their Inverted Cone clubface technology in to the club.
This technology brings two huge advantages to the Rocketbladez Irons - the inverted cone design increases the size of the club face area and delivers massive ball speed, and the face flexes to control the angle at which the ball is heading. The club also has a notch near the head of the club, allowing the user to change the angle the the club is facing - this is something that previous Taylormade models couldn't do. The club only weighs 17.5 grams, making it incredibly comfortable to swing, and hold whilst strolling around the course.
