About Tiffany - Jewellery & Watches
Now considered one of the finest and most luxurious jewellery retailers in the world, Tiffany & Co started life in 1837 as a stationers and seller of 'fancy goods'. Founders Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B. Young soon set the bar by only accepting cash payments and refusing to allow any credit, making Tiffany a truly unique shopping experience, and quite different from their competitors. Come 1845, they were offering mail order shopping opportunities, and progressed rapidly by designing various pieces for the Union Army and the United States Department of the Navy and collaborating with artists such as Andy Warhol.
Tiffany Necklaces and Bracelets
From necklaces to bracelets, the most famous of all Tiffany designs has to be the classic chunky chain and tag; produced in solid silver, and finished with either a heart shaped or oval engraved tag, these iconic pieces stand out as being typically Tiffany. More refined designs, such as the delicate double chain, interlocking circles and open heart pendant are less well known, but just as popular, and certainly just as beautiful.
They say diamonds are a girl's best friend, and that couldn't be more true of the exquisite pieces produced by Tiffany & Co. The ideal gift, whether as an engagement ring or Christmas present, rings from Tiffany will be well received and treasured forever. Choose from sterling silver bands, platinum rings encrusted with jewels, or eclectic woven heart rings; all encapsulate the timeless elegance and classic luxury that is always associated with Tiffany.
