About Timberland 14" Premium Boots
The Timberland brand was formally established in 1973 by Nathan Swartz who was the owner of The Abington Shoe Company. The brand name was introduced in order to accompany the unveiling of a new range of outdoor footwear that had been designed using injection moulding technology, a technique which was seen at the time to be extremely innovative. The range of waterproof leather boots proved to be extremely popular with the general public and the success prompted Swartz to rename his company. Later in the year The Abington Shoe Company officially became The Timberland Company.
One of the most popular designs in the Timberland boots range is the Timberland 14 Premium waterproof boot. This stylish and durable boot is available to both men and women and comes in a variety of colours although the most common colour is wheat. The Timberland 14 Premium boot design is available in all sizes and benefits from 400g of insulation whilst the boot is also manufactured as a seam sealed, directly attached boot which increases its waterproof capability and makes this boot an ideal choice for the winter months.
The Timberland 14 Premium boot benefits from Taslon fibre laces which provide increased durability and the boot also utilises rustproof components to prolong performance and effectiveness. Other favourable aspects of the design includes the unique shock absorption cones which assist those that are on their feet for extended periods of time, the padded collar design which fits around a user's ankles and reduces the risk of debris getting inside and the rubber lug sole which provides increased levels of traction and durability.
