Although Hornby rules model trains today, there was a time when many children came to the hobby through Tri-ang. Popular in the 1950s and ‘60s, Tri-ang trains were the most common introduction to the hobby for a whole generation.

What makes it even more interesting is that after the 1960s many Tri-ang models were marketed under the Hornby name, as the model train group was sold separately from the rights to the Tri-ang name. Return to your childhood.
