About Willis & Gambier Furniture
Willis & Gambier specialise in dining and bedroom furniture, but they do make pieces suited for other areas of the home. The furnishings are designed with 21st century living in mind, and the final products are stylish, durable and affordable. The company started out as a bed importer and designer in 1990, when Barney Willis and Nigel Gambier predicted a fast growth in the pine furnishings market. Only 8 years later the company boasted that they had control of 14 per cent of the bunk bed market.
In 1998 the two entrepreneurs decided to shift their efforts to designing luxury pieces of designer furniture. The men worked alongside their designers to create both contemporary and traditional designs to suit a wide variety of customer needs. The company's core values are to produce beautiful and well-crafted pieces of furniture, with solid and veneered finishes - offering the customer a long-lasting piece for an affordable price.
The company has many different dining chair ranges, including Bellano, Caravel, Escana Light, Lille, and Gloucester. Some of the ranges specialise in 21st century modern designs, whereas others try and achieve a vintage-style traditional look for the furniture. The bedroom ranges include Antoinette, Bordeaux, Charlotte and Escana.
There are many Willis Gambier furniture options available, including double robe wardrobes, children's bed furniture with ladders and areas for storage underneath, simple dining chairs in natural oak and art deco-style sets of drawers. On top of that there are simple dining tables, television stands, bedside tables and sideboards.
