Description
Director Paul Feig and producer Judd Apatow team up again for this comedy that stars Kristen Wiig as Annie, a romantically unattached failed bakery owner who fears she's losing her BFF, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), the best thing in her life, when Lillian announces she's gotten engaged. Annie's anxieties deepen as Lillian grows close to Helen (Rose Byrne), a wealthy and beautiful new friend who quickly assumes control of planning all the pre-wedding festivities. On top of the main storyline of a female friendship being torn apart, the movie adds a romantic storyline for Annie, who starts the film answering a booty call from the casually cruel yet undeniably handsome Ted (Jon Hamm), but develops a lovely flirtation with an Irish cop named Rhodes (Chris O'Dowd) after he pulls Annie over one night thinking she's driving drunk. As the low-self-esteem Annie sabotages this new possibility for love, she also feels the most important friendship in her life slipping away.

Awesome, funny, great product

 | Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Much has been written about Bridesmaids’ shocking, hitherto unknown discovery that the ladies can drink, swear and vomit as freely and as funnily as the fellas. But the film’s appeal lies in an entirely different cliché: that women are deeper, subtler comedic observers than men. By contemporary standards, this is sweetness and light, the crudity driven largely by accident rather than the willing self-destruction of The Hangover boys. “At one point, we thought it was going to be a PG,” Feig jokes wryly on the disc’s commentary. The Hangover, hilarious though it was, relied on nothing more taxing than the slow reveal of a night of snowballing chaos. In contrast, Bridesmaids turns its screws in a linear, but no less excruciating fashion. This film is far more interested in the capacity of weddings to be parades of pretension.

Hilariously funny and touching - definitely a film for a girly night in! There are lots of belly laughs and I especially love the 'Wilsson Phillips' section at the end.

This film was basically very very funny, and had a good story line. I found the main character a little wet at times, but on the whole i would highly recommend watching this movie, its hilarious!
