It has so many features, I won't list them all.
You can add up to a 32GB capacity Micro SDHC card, being a 2GB internal memory model this takes you to a total of 34GB.It has a radio (you need to have your ear/headphones cable in as full length as possible position for best results) which you can record from and you can make voice recordings. As well as as playing MP3's it supports WAV, WMA, SECURE WMA, FLAC, OGG-VORBIS and Audiobook files.EQ options.Drag and drop inputting music.
Last but not least, the sound is fantastic, smooth and powerful with my Sennheiser PX100 headphones.
3-4 weeks ago I bought a Philips Gogear Raga 2GB before this player, figuring that being a newish model it would be a decent stop gap while my Iphone was being repaired.WRONG - The voice quality is ok.I wasn't expecting the last word in audio, but the music quality is very poor.
I tested it using the same music files that have been played on my previously owned Apple players.
The result is a shut in, harsh, parts missing, uninvolving sound, even trying the 'Fullsound' (no Philips it didn't give me rich detail!) and equalizer settings, couldn't bear it for a second longer.
Because playing non music recordings were ok, I don't believe the player was faulty, just badly made for music.
I gave my wife a listen, she wasn't impressed at all.
The Raga isn't totally bad.It starts up very quickly is fairly good to navigate and has better battery life than the Clip+. If your on the lookout for any more than that, this player isn't for you.
I returned the Raga 6 days later and got my £31.99 refunded, did some googling for a good Mp3 player, the reviews were excellent and bought this fantastic bit of tech for the bargain used price of just over £20 with postage.
I believe these first came out 3-4 years ago, still amazingly specified.
Battery life about 15 hrs. There is a question mark over the Sansa Clip+ reliability, mine is fine so far.
    Highly recommended.

    Good thing

    Created: 04/05/11
    Pluses:
•Small size - easily fastens to clothes and does not disturb.
•Absence of a glamour colour screen guzzling a battery. The screen with pair lines - sometimes to look the name of a song and a charge of a battery - quite suffices.
•Working with USB without unnecessary superstructures of type iTune or WMP. The player works through the standard report of data transmission, without any problems. And works on any OS.
•Supporting of podcasts. The position for all not listened files is remembered. And not just for the last, as in the majority of modern players.
•Ordinary - not touch management. It is possible to operate blindly.
    •Equalizer is enclude.
•Radio. On an accident case possible to catch rescue signals :)
    •Good price.

    Minuses:
•Inconvenient volume buttons arrangement, sometimes a scribble instead of Cyrillics.

    Conclusion:
For normal support of audiobooks and podcasts and synchronisation with a computer without the left software, it is possible to forgive some defects. As a result we have rare responsibility player, without superfluous features, low price.

    Highly recommended.

Tiny device that punches way above it's diminutive size and price - buy!

My usual media device is an Archos 5, love it to bits and it goes everywhere with me - or it did until I bough this little gem of a device!

The Archos has a hard disk and I needed something I could run with and take to the gym. Spent ages listening to what felt like every compact MP3 player around and wasn't too impressed - that was until I sound the Sansa Clip+. This baby sounds absolutely amazing - I'd say as good as anything costing 2 to 3 times the (retail) price. Coupled with some good quality headphones this device has an amazing soundstage and enough of a dynamic range to challenge even the quality of a good home music system. Add to this that the player is about the size of a little matchbox and you can't argue that it's a winner every time. The menus are super simple and overall this is very intuative. The clip on the back is super strong and has never let you down - it does exactly what it's supposed to, unlike some others that look the part but don't function as expected. One last thing that sets this above the competition is the fact that you can upgrade with a miniSD card - something I've not seen on other models in this area of the market.

If you are a bit of a hacker you can even load RockBox - an open source operating system for this (and other devices). This gives you additional functionality and an endless choice of menus styles - you can even create your own. I tried this out - it's loaded from your PC and very easy to do through an intuative softeare interface - although I went back to the original Sansa menus as I didn't think I would use the extra features (clock, stopwarch, calculator - to name but a few).

Since buying this it has become my go to music player for commuting and work. The only downfall I see is that I sometimes miss some of my extensive music library - I like to pick and choose what to listen to depending upon my mood so I do miss having all my music with me. But saying that this is much more portable and saves on pocket space, as it hasn't got a 500GB memory store. I'd still take my Archos on holidays and on long journeys, but for now this fits my needs whilst I'm not too far from home.

If you are in the market for an ultra portable MP3 player that beats the competition hands down then get yourself one of these little gems - trust me, just buy it - save yourself the days of research and frustration by searching for the best price and ordering one. I've not regretted my purchase yet.

Having used my parter's SanDisk Sansa Clip+ when my beloved 1GB el cheapo, easy-to-use MP3, bought years ago died, I decided to replace it with a brand new Sansa Clip.
I have used two or three different makes, but never seemed to get on with them, so I knew Sansa Clip would be the best option for me.
Even though I am in my early 30s and use PC,etc at work and at home, I am still quite the techno-phobe, prone to losing my temper when things go wrong/don't seem to do what they are supposed to!
I couldn't wait to get all my music from my numerous back catalogue of CDs ripped onto Window Media (7), get it on my brand new toy, ready to drown out the office bore.
Getting the music to sync wasn't the problem. However, playing the second or 3rd track, every time, no matter what combinations I used to rip/sync/play my tracks, a warning came up "Synchronise to continue your music subscription". WTF???
Searched high and low on the SanDisk website (forums, chat et al) and found all kinds of potential solutions. After several attempts at these, profuse swearing, wanting to return the product and preventing myself from stomping on it, I discovered the answer.
Finally! I had to go into TOOLS by right clicking on the mouse near the bottom of the media page (in Windows Media 7), OPTIONS, click on the RIP MUSIC tab, and remove the tick from the COPY PROTECT MUSIC box.
The simpliest solution of all time!!! (D'OH!)
Success is all mine, the warning message has disappeared, I have sync'd all my tracks and think my MP3 is AWESOME!!!

***Only slight draw back is size. Could very easily disappear in a handbag/a child prone to putting anything and everything in their mouth!!!***

Neat, tidy package that just works. Good sound quality and battery life with the added advantage of having a mini SD slot for slot radio or just more storage space. Supports many audio formats including FLAC. Best sport mp3 player around.
