I already have an Android tablet in the house, but bought this to stop the kids fighting over it and my laptop.
The Disgo 7000 does not have the Google Apps installed and I am having problems getting it to connect to my wireless router, yet it does connect to my parents router and I can get other appilances to connect to my router, so it is a bit of a strange situation with that one as to where the problem lies.
There is no Android Market on this item, but a service called "GetJar" which has far fewer apps available than the android market and most of the popular android market apps are NOT available on GetJar.
However, it is possible to copy the APK files onto the device from a PC and install from there, if you need to be connecting it to a PC, it rather defeats the point in having a tablet.
I have been unable to get Flash web sited to work, even using browsers that have been able to get flash enabled sites to work on my other tablet.
On the plus side, you do get a more powerful processor than you would if you bought a WonderMedia based tablet for the same budget, but the downsides seem to outweigh this by a considerable margin.
If I had found a way to get Google Apps to work on the tablet and to get flash enabled websites to work (I am sure it can be done) then I would be recommending this in a flash (pardon the pun) however given I have not been able to do this and I consider myself to be quite savvy on this sort of thing then my review is going to be fairly negative.
However, on the positive side, it is lighter and feels easier in the hand than the 7" MID tablet I have (A WM based android tablet) and the on screen keyboard is no worse although at this price you shouldn't expect anything fantastic.
The USB port is far less clunky with a short wired adaptor rather than a big plastic lump with a USB plug as the MID tablet has, although the lack of an ethernet socket is a shortfall, especially as I am having problems connecting to my router. The general perfomance is pretty good for what is in effect a low budget tablet.

-Firstly i am a university student and when i first brought the Disgo 7000 tablet over a week ago, i was very disappointed with my purchase. Obviously i knew you get what you pay for, but i didn't do enough research buying purchasing.
In the first few days of having my tablet, i was not able to use it, as only basic instructions come in the box and do not explain step by step how to use the device. The touchscreen is really unresponsive, i talk for myself, but i like to keep the plastic coating over the screen to protect, this means you have to press hard on the touchscreen as the protective screen makes it more difficult.
There is no app market on the Disgo 7000 tablet but Jetgar which is really unpredicted.
When i first had the tablet i took 1 picture on the camera and after that every time i turn the camera on it doesn't work.
Overall the battery life on the tablet does not last very long, mine was on charge all night and within 2 hours of use, the battery died. I would not recommenced the device unless you want it for basic, as i say i am in uni and i need more than what i paid for.

Handy little tool for checking ebay, mail, and networking sites. I only use my main pc now on rare occasions. Can play hd content but sometimes can struggle a little bit.
If buying this item as a cheap alternative to an ipad for just browsing the internet etc then go for it.
Note if like me you are new to touchscreen internet pads please be aware that this item has not one but two screen protectors on it, and can give you one very large blister on the tip of your finger if you do not remove both lol !
Scroll screen with finger yes but much better response with stylus i bought from a pound shop.

i purchased this after i sent the disgo6000 back and gave them another try. very lightweight and cool design
with added features.the screen is a little tricky had to use more of my nail than a finger to use but once in
i was pleasantly surprised.you download there apps through there gjar site and it has all the latest android apps( ie angry birds), great for watching movies and music, but the speakers are quite low in volume so may have to purchase headphones or a portable speaker to plug in. overall its a handy piece of equipment especially for the price. not quite an ipad but what do u expect. will do everything u ask it.one fault was i scratched the screen too easily but thats just me enjoy its worth trying it out :)

I tried it as a simple device for logging on while away from home, with the knowledge that it wouldn't do too much, but it wouldn't be a tragedy if I lost or broke it.
The main drawback is that it cannot use Flashplayer and so many film clips are unavailable and much time is wasted.
The screen is not "touch" sensitive even though it claims to have calibration. I found it irritatingly erratic.
Minor niggles are irrelevant, however, since it has now stopped working, after a month: it just won't boot up, endlessly repeating the initial sequence.
The major drawback, as one French reviewer wrote, is that if you claim under warranty, you have to pay to send it back to the manufacturer.....in China.
I'm just going to bin it
