This is a great game, it is really easy to get into and it has a brilliant storyline! I bought it because I've played it before at a friends and really liked the look of it, even tho fighting games aren't usually my thing, I enjoy Gears of War.

Awesome game, was looking for a 'modern' RTS many people kept saying Halo Wars, so i tried it and wow, one of the best RTS games i have ever played! I read on Halo wars website there might be a Halo Wars 2, CANT WAIT haha

great game would recommend, well my hubby likes it. I dont like these sort of games give me something for the kinect anyday.

The original Gears of War was a 360-seller back in 2006. Graphics and multiplayer sold it to the masses. Even now, some five years later, it still manages to impress. Yes - the sequel and the upcoming final entry in the trilogy have raised the graphical and gameplay stakes - but it's nice to look back and reflect on where this all began. Headshots and chainsaw kills are still as bloddy and satisfying as they once were, the Gnasher shotgun is ridiculously overpowered, and Raam is still an utter swine to kill on Hardcore and Insane - but I still love it. Highly recommended.
