| The ASUS RT-N56U is a dual-band wireless N router that combines wireless technology with a massive data pipeline, making multiple data transfers very fast. This ASUS dual-band wireless router allows 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signals to run at up to 300 Mbps concurrently. With this arrangement, file downloading can occur at 2.4 GHz and HD content streaming at 5 GHz, ensuring the signal is strong enough to manage both tasks without interruption. Unlike the conventional gigabit router, the ASUS RT-N56U uses Network Address Translation (NAT) to deliver up to 1000 Mbps true-gigabit throughput. This dual-band wireless N router comes in with an in-built gigabit Ethernet port for full gigabit internet performance and two USB ports that make sharing of the printers and storage over LAN and WAN easy. This ASUS dual-band wireless router also allows users to download FTTP and FTP files to a USB-connected device while the PC is turned off.
