Amazon Kindle 6" E Ink Display 2GB, Wi-Fi, 6in - Graphite

bought for a snip under £50 second hand; no different to a brand new one! there may be no back light but you wouldnt read a book in the dark would you so whats the difference?

great easy to read clear screen and holds thousands of books - im only onto book 7 so a long way to go!

Both my Wife and I enjoy reading esp, when going on holiday what a difference this has made, no longer hqaving to stuff books in case, argue over who has choice of books to take !!With this slim easy to use item, we both have plenty of our choice of books downloaded and still more space than we shall ever need.
The screen is nice and clear and the Kindle is easy to use with how to use instuctions clear and concise downloaded. Battery life is extended with the wireless turned off.
Overall this item is superb and great value for money especially more so with the good range of free books available to download.
Only problem it has caused with it being so good my Wife and I have to flip a coin to see who has use of it !!! looks like before next holiday will be investing in another one !!

i tend to read an awful lot of books, so using this kindle will save me money in the long run.
i like the fact i can take it anywhere, the battery doesnt last long if the wireless is left on, but if only turned on downloads then it last a long time. i have only charged my kindle 2 times and i have had it 2 months.
very good value for money if all you want is to read and generally have the experiance of reading a book without having to spend too much money in buying the books you want. the downloads are easy for anyone to use, im a technophobe but can work it.

I bought this on EBay at a reduced price although new and unused. I already had an on-line Kindle account, and when I registered my Kindle, it transferred all the books in my account automatically.

I love my Kindle, it fits neatly into my handbag and I can take it anywhere. I holds hundreds of books, is easy to read and the font size can be increased or decreased to suit. It also has nice large page turning controls each side, so would suit left or right handed user. I treated myself to an inexpensive cover (also on ebay) with a built in light for reading in bed or poor lighting conditions, although I only really need the light if it's very dark. The battery lasts a reasonable time, and longer if I could only remember to switch the Wi-Fi off when not using it.

I have used another model of E-book reader but it wasn't as good as the Kindle. I also love the ability to purchase books directly from my Kindle without needing to use my PC at all. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

I bought this product to go on holiday with as I can never carry enough books for a week! It was absolutely fantastic, I am now a real convert, I always swore I would never have one as I like real books too much but for travelling there isn't anything better. The only thing I don't like about it is the keyboard as it's a bit of a faff but overall I'm not sure I would pay the extra for the touch screen version. It would be good if you could adjust the screen brightness too for reading in the dark (or maybe I just haven't figured that out yet).
