Amstrad DRX550 Digibox Satellite Receiver

I use it at caravan for the extra channels as there is no
digital signal at parts of cumbria yet. worth every penny. set up is no problem.looks quite neat under tv too.

I have tested the Sky Receiver and there are many more free view channels than In expected. Also I couldn t find any marks or damage on it - in fact it looks perfect.

Dont forget to get a digital viewing card as it is useless without, to be honest the guys selling should be letting you know that in the add to avoid the problem, i wouldn't spend big money on one either.

A far better box than given credit for.
Far too many people quick to say Pace is better, in reality, Amstrad channel change and epg is far faster.
The internal component spec for all boxes is forced upon manufacturers by BSKYB so I wonder why some say it is better ?
Sold and fitted lots of these over the past few years, never had one fail, more than I can say for the Pace.
If your in Spain and believe in old wifes tales, let the kidders take your hard earned and buy a Pace.
We have a place in Valencia and use Amstrad DRX 550 a 1.9 mtr dish with Invacom quad lnb, invacom feedhorn, the only channel we ever loose late at night is BBC 2.
Would prefer Amstrad anyday, but were all different !

The sky box was fine but after owning it for a short time, we had a message on the t.v telling us that this was the incorrect card for the box and that we should contact sky.
