) This Mac, like all macs, is an absolutely wonderful machine. It is incredibly easy to use yet, despite being an advanced PC user, I did not feel spoonfed. I immersed myself in the new operating system very quickly and the keyboard is very responsive and easy to right on. The touch pad is also very responsive and so is the button. The fact you don't have to scram around for software drivers to get the Mac's hardware going when upgrading is also another plus.
One gigabyte of memory does mean that some problems do take a couple of seconds to start so I would highly recommend getting two gigabyte upgrade will ensue.
The core 2 processor, however, speeds things up hugely and the startup time is very impressive.
I am buying this Mac in order to experiment with those great programs such as Logic Studio and the unbelievably slick Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac. I was blown away by the wonderful transition effects on Powerpoint 2008 I saw in a presentation at my school.
All in all, a great product. But if your a more advanced PC user, putting in an extra gigabyte of memory is recommended. That depends on what you are using it for and how big the programs are your using. For programs like iWork and Office 2008, one gigabyte should be sufficient. For Adobe CS5 Master Collection, two gigabytes are recommended.

) amazing value for money, was sold as faulty the only real issue was the hard drive. After fitting a new one the Mac was fully working at its potential the only downside is the battery in which costs £30-40 each on ebay anyway. What a bargin..
