Apple MacBook Air 13.3" Laptop - MB003B/A (January,2008)

Well there are folk that moan like he'll about this Oh ONLY having on USB no internal DVD drive well oh erm keep quiet.
1 you get this for PORTABILITY if you don't want to use the 80 gig HD WELL. It's not that hard to think use an external laptop HD small and neat or a PEN DRIVE AND COMPRESS THE film??:-)
2 batter well I have just put my new battery in and the first charge i left it on half brigtness and wifi on Bluetooth on from 10am through till 11 pm and i used it for 1 hour youtubeing ebaying and opening some large websites I turned it if at 30% battery remaining
also the wifi I thought was really sensative in my test
all in all I am happy with my air and I have a MacBook (white) and a MacBook pro to 17''

It's a nice small laptop, lightweight and easy to carry around with you.

As for performance levels, it's good but can't run multiple applications at once. If it does it starts to slow down and become laggy.

Battery life is not very good. Looses battery life quick and takes long to charge to full.

Value for money, definitely would recommend anyone and everyone to buy one. For work or anything else.

This is a very nice machine - very light and compact. The model I chose has both windows7 ultimate operating system including office 2007, and snow leopard 10 which is for Mac computers - so I can use two different environments.

Initial impressions are good. My friend recommended me to Apple over a pc laptop because of their superior design and manufacture. I hope it lives up to its p.r. - so far so good!

I bought this laptop to use during my university course, doing a design heavy course I needed a laptop which is portable yet durable and also able to run photoshop and other design programmes. The MacBook Air consistently came out top when researching which laptop to buy. it is light and can be carried very easily, the only downsides are that the webcam isn't great and nor is the battery life, these are minor things which can be overlooked however. I am very impressed at this laptop and I definitely will not be leaving the apple hype anytime soon.

After finally taking the plunge, I bought a 1.6 Ghz 80GB HD macbook air. I was in for a shock! It made my old macbook feel like it weighed 10 tons! The air is just so light! Its incredible!

Lots of people say it has many problems etc, but I don't see them. For the lack of a Disc drive, I bought the external superdrive, but Im sure remote disc works fine. Then I bought the USB to ethernet adaptor, and I have a USB hub, so now I have no problems with the ports. Then some people were saying it got too hot which slowed it down etc. But, right now I am on safari with 3 tabs open, I am screen sharing on iChat and I am streaming music from spotify, and its getting no hotter than any other mac or PC laptop I have ever used. Obviously if you layed it on a duvet or a blanket, it probably would over-heat, but so would any other laptop.

Overall, its a great laptop and I am very pleased with mine. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants a mac laptop!
