Firs of all can i say that ebay is about the best place to get one of these at a good price,try amazon also.Keep away from the shops as they are far too pricey and you could save yourself a couple of hundered pound here.I bougt mine a few weeks back and my wife took control of it straight away (total gadget freak).Very fast piece of kit and because she has an iphone took to this like water off a ducks back.Very fast and does everything one could ask it to do.Still think it,s a little pricey but as we all know apple items dont rush to drop thier prices,save some money and buy the extras like screen savers etc from elsewhere like amazon as from the shop they are very pricey.This will give you upto 10hrs of wifi so if in a wifi zone you can get on with your work or view your entertainment etc whilst on the go.Please look up the tech details if you need to know them but to be honest if you have an iphone then you can easily use one of these,definitely classed as a toy for the boys/girls 10/10 from me.

I couldn't believe it when I won this brand new iPad that costs over £700 in the shops. I was rather excited when it arrived, this was as stated, brand new condition, and it added to its excellent features when I found out it is an American iPad. I have been led to believe that the volume is higher on the American ones than the UK ones like with the iPods. Due to it being American it has a different charger, which I didn't have but, sorted my problem out by using my slightly older radio connector. So, anyway, the iPad is just like the iPod, but larger. I wouldn't take it out with me, and say use to listen to music while on the bus, etc. because of the size, I would still use my iPod. It is excellent though, and I love watching films, playing games, using the internet, etc. on it. I wouldn't be without it and find I can watch the telly while laying in the bath because of the case I got for it. This is an excellent piece of kit and would say that if you have the iPod and you are thinking of getting the iPad, go for it. Use the iPod when outside - going to work - and the iPad for indoors. It's lovely.

Think that the Ipad is such an awesome piece of kit, a must have for all gadget fiends. I bought it for the main reason of surfing the internet, facebook ebay etc cos the misses is always on the destop. Her first coments once I bought it was " why have you spent all that money on that, you'll never use it" well she was partly right due to the fact that I cant get her off it now.
Excellent for games, they keboard is excellent and very resposive. overall I cant fault it. Nice one apple

Good points, Internet, e mail, book reader, battery life, ease of use
Bad points can't print, no flash player, screen back light too bright at lowest setting.
IT will not replace a laptop or netbook, but good second device for family, Ipad 1 good value for money now as I pad 2 out.

The Apple iPad is a simply amazing piece of kit that does everything it says on the tin. However, although the keyboard is nearly full size, it is virtually impossible to touch type. So if you want to input screeds of text you'll have to fork out for a wireless keyboard.
