Apple iPad 3rd Generation 32GB, Wi-Fi + Cellular (Unlocked), 9.7in - White

I bought this for university as I have an iMac and needed something portable.

It's a bit heavy, and I ended up getting an iPad mini. It really just depends what you want it for.

As a substitute for a laptop, it's not great as you can't do a lot of things that a laptop does. You really need a desktop/laptop as well as a backup for the things you can't do.

No USB slot can be annoying, and no expandable memory is frustrating.

If you want something portable, go for an iPad mini.

I believe the name Apple says concludes its all!One of the best if not the best tablet in the market right now!Absoluty satisfied with the purchase!

I had a HTC windows 8 phone and found it so unser friendlyi ended up not using it at all, along with phone signal behinding shocking where i live! so wanting something better for apps and music i decided for an ipad!! Though alittle pricey i was worried i wouldnt get on with the touch screen as didnt with HTC, but apart from the price its easy to use,and not to heavy!! Of course you can't make a phone call so tospeak but you can skype and use over ahundred different apps for social networking. On the down side to no phone it doesnt have great range for wifi but then againthey could just be down to where i work. One Plus and emense camera andplenty of photo storage space being 64gb!! plenty of assesoires out there too and thousands of apps but sorting through them can be mernotinus!! I can't compare unfortunatly to other ipads as ihaven't had one before!! It does kick the behind of the windows phone though even so much so that i'm waiting for my iphone 4 to arrive (will also review) So overall a worthwhile perchase.

The Ipad is an excellent little gadget,
I find it very useful when having little time but wanting to check things like my email or facebook,
it loads in seconds unlike the desktop PC.
It also save me money as I now get my newspaper delivered to my Ipad, this saves me in the region of £50 per month.
I would recommend buying an Ipad anytime, as you can see from my experience just having my paper delivered to it has helped me recoup the cost in just a few months,and now ime saving money every day.

A exellent ipad to use and work with and makes everything so easy than a laptop with long battery life and the flexibility you have once you leave the house.
