Apple iPhone 1st Generation - 16 GB - Black (O2) Smartphone

Seriously flawed because you cannot use the common apps such as Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp. etc because the software's too old. A irritating fact about Apple who clearly understand that they will make more money by forcing people to upgrade to iPhone 4 (as the problem is the same in 3G also). Also there is no ability send picture messages, no record video.

But apart from this, this iphone is very similar to all other iphones, except perhaps a little slower and not as great battery... but this is not that noticeable.

My feeling is that iphone was a great product when it was released, and Apple have capitalised on this by releasing constant upgrades that have academic improvements that are not necessary.

But if you just want to text, surf the web, and send emails, and make calls.. it is a great product, and you can pick them up very cheaply, and might work out a better deal then buying an old Nokia.

its a good phone i have never had a iphone before so maybe its better to use something like this one before i go and get the more updated iphone like 4 and 5......

Don't buy these of Ebay, they are too fragile for post and you are better off getting a newer one i reccomend an iphone 4 or something similar

I bought this as I had wanted an iphone for some time but have been unable to afford one. I still cant afford the latest top of the range iphone but this first generation iphone became available at what I think was a reasonable price so i bought it. I love the wifi internet, the calender, the ipod, the camera anf email facilities. it has an excellent charger that allows to charge from plug socket and computer usb. Im not so impressed by the fact that because its a first generation they will no longer allow older iphones to have the updates to downlaod all the iphone apps you see advertised so i still can have all the advantages of having an iphone. its a wonderful and better than most other phones on the market but it still has been well surpassed by its replacement iphone models.

iPhones are the way of the future... Not just the old one, I collect the range but I love playing around with the original to see where it all started; the iPhone revolution...
