Review for: Apple iPhone 4 - 16 GB - Black (O2) Smartphone
The display on Apple’s iPhone 4 is easily the sharpest and most clear display we have seen on the smartphones. The iPhone 4 features 960 x 640 pixel resolution, which holds no comparison to the 480 x 320 resolution that is found on its predecessor, the Apple iPhone 3GS. With such a high resolution, your eyes are unable to see each pixel on the iPhone 4, which results in a much clearer, crisper and more enjoyable display.
The display’s pixels were developed at 78 micrometers wide. According to Apple, because of their small size, Apple was able to pack four times the number of pixels onto the 3.5-inch screen. This results in 326 pixels per inch on the iPhone 4’s, display and it also means your images and text don't appear choppy and pixelated.
The sturdiness of this device is also a key feature of the iPhone 4’s design. The device is small, weighing only 4.8 ounces, but it feels indestructible. The retina display glass is made from the same materials used in helicopters, so if dropping smartphones is a common occurrence for you, the iPhone 4 is one of the best smartphones for you.
Even with each of the advanced features the Apple iPhone 4 offers, smartphones still provides its users with basic call features and high quality. This product features your basic call waiting, caller ID and call holding.
However, smartphones offer a little more than making just your basic calls. The iPhone 4 features FaceTime, which allows you to video call anywhere, anytime. What makes FaceTime one of the best features we found on smartphones was the simplicity it offers the user. Tap a button and you could be seeing your best friend in China or watching your son ride his bike while being miles away from home.
FaceTime also worked directly from the box, which is rare for smartphones that we didn’t have to go through some tedious installation program to begin. The front camera on your device has been created so it has the correct field of view and focal length for the FaceTime feature. However, with another tap of your finger, you can show whomever you may be video calling what is happening from the back of your smartphone using the rear camera.
MY IPHONE 4
The iPhone 4 is a slate smartphone developed by Apple. It is the fourth generation of iPhone, and successor to the iPhone 3GS. It is particularly marketed for video calling, consumption of media such as books and periodicals, movies, music, and games, and for general web and e-mail access. It was announced on June 7, 2010, at the WWDC 2010 held at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, and was released on June 24, 2010 in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan.
The iPhone 4 runs Apple's iOS operating system, the same operating system as used on previous iPhones, the iPad, and the iPod Touch. It is primarily controlled by a user's fingertips on the multi-touch display, which is sensitive to fingertip contact.
The most noticeable difference between the iPhone 4 and its predecessors is the new design, which incorporates an uninsulated stainless steel frame that acts as the device's antenna. The internal components of the device are situated between two panels of chemically strengthened aluminosilicate glass. It has an Apple A4 processor and 512 MB of eDRAM, twice that of its predecessor and four times that of the original iPhone. Its 3.5-inch (89 mm) LED backlit liquid crystal display with a 960×640 pixel resolution is marketed as the "Retina Display". Some iPhone 4 buyers have reported signal reduction when the phone is held in certain ways, especially in the left hand, as the antenna problem is in the bottom left corner of the phone's side casing. The company has offered customers a free case until September 30, 2010, or a refund within 30 days of purchase, as cases have been shown to correct this antenna problem. The latest operating system release, iOS 4.1, added functionality such as high dynamic range photos and the Game Center.
Fantastic phone with some minor flaws!!
The good: Improved performance; lovely new retina screen display that's bright and incredibly crisp and an improved design its a very beautiful phone, much better looking than the previous iphones in my opinion.
It has ton of sorely needed features, both by itself and through the iOS 4 update.
Having not used an iphone before and not being a big fan of touch screen phones I was a little skeptical at first but alas it was a great choice and it has made me feel completely different about touch screen phones. The keys and on screen qwerty keyboard are really responsive and easy to use, even for someone that isn't use to touch screens.
The bad: The reception issue is the probably the biggest down point of this device, without a bumper or case covering the antennas (metal like band around the phone) its impossible to use. With that said you wouldn't use it without a case or some sort of protection anyway so not a big problem. I'm sure apple will rectify this flaw soon, at the moment they do offer free bumpers/cases via a specific iphone free bumper app.
The bottom line: With iPhone 4, Apple again shows that it's a powerful player in the smartphone wars. Its not for everyone but overall a fantastic phone with a ton of features and it looks elegant and simple.
Hope this review helped thank you for reading =)

The iphone 4, All i could possibly say is what an amazing phone!
Its unbelievable able with all its power and the things it can do for your money. Its very worth while to purchase! Its got over thousands of apps to be downloaded, free & paid but they all are worth it. Very cheap prices indeed. They're is so much to do on it! Play games, watch movies, etc. Its got such a vivid great screen. Bright, powerful and High definition. It also is the worlds thinnest smartphone to date! I bought it for work and it worked like a charm. Can do almost anything i can put ahead of it. The iphone came with 12 months free internet as-well which was fab! The camera is fantastic. Can record 1080p HD which is amazing if your a video blogger or something. This phone is for everyone. Its stylish and fashionable as-well. I felt proud of owning one every time i looked at it! It has been criticized for the signal quality but they gave away free cases to solve the signal issue and now the current ones work fine! The phones facetime is remarkable as-well. The quality is fantastic but lacks using it on 3G without jailbreaking which hacks the iphone to get free aps etc. Millions own it so why don't you? Its a great device and worth every penny. Apples service in store and over phone is great! They help you instantly and fix everything most of the time for free! I hope you do look forward into purchasing a iphone 4.

Iphone 4 - Practical usage in a small business
| Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.
As a small business owner, and formerly an entrenched windows mobile fanzine, but lost faith due to constant handset locking over the years, with several makes and models.
i never liked the 'banana' shape of the iPhone 3GS, i could imagine it easily getting sat on or slipping from top pockets etc. then a family member showed me his iPhone4, in the hands it just exudeded sheer pleasure and in its class, when switched on the screen is amazingly sharp and responsive.
'the grip of death' is it's biggest most infamous problem, but i use my phones in a gel sleeve or a case to protect them, which prevents this problem.
if i have one big wish it is to be 'allowed' to sync data over bluetooth as you can with most other phones. as far as i know this in not implemented to prevent piracy, so to achieve that ability you have to 'jailbreak' the phone, but thats not something i and many others want to do.
where as really useful business App's for WM6 phones were fairly expensive and not so many, i find for my needs it is not so expensive for the iPhone4 apps, and the choice is simply vast.
as example i use Intuits Quick Books Pro for my accounts, and 'ring it up' on the iPhone4 for quick estimates when out working. QB Pro costs £350.00 Ring it Up cost £20.00 and it is a fairly powerful accounts app.
the 2 programs don't interlink but this mobil ability allows me to make fairly accurate estimates (having input same item data in each package).
before this i was making notes or using a spread sheet, getting home and using the PC package. produce, and email the estimate/s. which often meant late nights having already done a full days work. having sent off the estimate/s and then hear nothing is an obvious wast of effort.
Using the iP4 app 'ring it up' i can estimate on the spot within minutes, address any changes and instantly email direct to the client, that facility to 'hot mail' means i make more sales and the iphone4 with the right software invaluable.
The lower software cost of Apps is likely due to massive competition and a rich dearth of application makers. those like me who won't jailbreak are using only Apple's site as the only app source.
reason being Apple has a deservedly high reputation to protect, so ensure quality control in what's sold on it's site.
if your a small businessman and teetering on Iphone/Android/Blackberry, i'd recommend go for the iPhone4 or the coming iPhone5 later this year.
