Product description

Product Information
At just 9.3mm, the iPhone 4 is thin as a rake but the front and back are 30 times stronger than the usual plastic. Reason - aluminosilicate glass, the stuff that windshields of military choppers are made of. The periphery is customized alloy, 5 times stronger than steel. Your accidental dropping won’t hurt your pocket-communicator. The Retina Display packs in 4 times the amount of pixels (326 per inch) of iPhone 3, and makes the text and images slicing sharp. Thanks to the added 960 x 640 pixel screen watching of HD movies on the iPhone 4 becomes a gasp. When you become a shutterbug behind the iPhone 4 camera, you shoot 5 megapixel images and high-definition videos at 720p resolution, with the LED flash and autofocus that make things easier. Opt for the iMovie video editing software, and you become a movie maker. If you happen to have Wi-Fi around, the FaceTime feature gets you into true worldwide video chat and ‘staying in touch’ becomes real personal. And all it takes to choose between the front and rear camera is a tap. The 3-axis gyro, when coupled with accelerometer, results in 6-axis motion sensing, and that’s as good as it can ever get for gaming on a cell phone. With 7 hours of talk time (3G)/10 hours of video/40 hours of audio, the iPhone 4 packs in enough power to let you do fast multitasking and then some more.

- Outstanding fast for such a small piece of technology!
- Beautiful, smooth and sleep design.
- Battery life not too bad! Needed recharging only once after TONS of use on first day with all the playing around. On an average day, used about 50% for me (inc: Texting, Wi-Fi and web surfing)
- No too brittle! Get a case to project the outside and will survive a long time.
- Swapping between Surfing, Texting and music playing is mind-blowing. No lag or freezing up at all!
- Camera has great software to turn those 5MP pictures in to stunning quality! Don't be fooled by an 8MP phone, the software that builds the overall picture is far more important. The camera records HD vids and takes pictures in great quality!

Only bad note could be the Apple ID/Game Centre log-in and all the signing in to places but ones set up, will only require the password from time to time

Money well spent!

Apple iPhone 4 32gb

Created: 21/12/10
This phone is the best ever i've owned! I've used mobile phones since the early 90's and I have had quite a few in between then and now! The phone itself oozes appeal with it's smart and modern looks. I wasn't sure about the touchscreen thing at 1st until I owned an Experia Mini Pro, which had the optional slide out Qwerty keypad. The keypad I rarely used and that's what brought me to the iPhone 4! The iPhone 3 I'd been put off, with a very good mate of mine owning one since they 1st came out and looked and felt too Plasticy for me. I didn't want to pay the initial £600 for the phone at first, but after having the cheaper Experia to try touchscreen as a nothing to loose idea, I honestly wouldn't go back to the old tap keypad method.

The iPhone has a lovely 75 x 50cm crystal clear screen and is good on the eyes! It has a lovely smooth feel to it and feels a solid phone, unlike some of the other smartphones I looked at! The volume buttons and Silent Ring button are located on the top right side of the phone, with the semi recessed Home, Menu push button directly below the screen and is barely recognisable. Functions of the iPhone 4 are easy to get around and pretty user friendly. Twitter, Facebook and Safari are lightening fast I find, mind you I am on o2 which supports 3G. What impresses me with this phone so much is the contact list information it holds, phone No's, Email, Birthday etc, etc. The Apps for the phone are truly superb, depending what you download to suit your lifestyle with some being free and some chargeable like most phones of this nature. I tend to use the iPhone 4 more now than my Home Laptop. The camera quality is excellent and it's 5 megapixel lens does what I'd expect it to do. Overall......yes you can get cheaper Smartphones, but be careful because this iPhone 4 is the Best You Can Buy, even though the price can be off putting if you buy your phones outright like me!! I'd never go back or buy any other type of mobile now, unless it has Apple written on it. Great phone, great looks, and an Absolute Pleasure to Own!!

I use this phone everyday for work, sat nav, and personal use. I am not an apple "fanboy" and i travel 6000+ miles a month.

This phone is great. I have seen and played shortly with other phones (although not the samsung galaxies).

i use this to record hd video when off roading, doing my mileage and expenses as i travel to each site, play an online game (tribalwars), as a sat nav (co-pilot), as a byway finder for green laning (memory map), to advertise any stuff i have on ebay, for my music and video library, and i will pop the odd film on it, if away for a while.

In short this phone is great. it does everything i need it to, and if i combine all the functions it can do, and buy equivalent devices its cost can be justified. I won't be getting the 4s. not because its not an upgrade, but because the 5 will be out when demand for the 4s drops, and that ill be a worthy upgrade. This phone is a nice upgrade to a 3g (mainly being the screen, and battery life), although speed is increased, i wouldn't upgrade jsut for speed alone.

The only function this lacks that i would lvoe to have is the image stabilisation for recording hd video off road. other than that, i can't fault it.

Apple iPhone 4 Black (32GB)

Created: 06/10/10
The iPhone 4 features a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with a 5x digital zoom, a backside illuminated sensor and built-in LED flash that allows you to take pictures even in low light and dark environments. The camera performs well and the picture quality is a considerable improvement on my original iphone 3G. The iPhone 4 lets you record and edit HD video although I haven't yet used the edit facilities nor have I downloaded the iMovie® app for iPhone that lets you combine movie clips, add dynamic transitions and themes and include photos and music. The tap to focus feature now works while recording video and is a useful tool. The iPhone 4‘s LED flash can be used for both still photography and video recording. I particularly like the iPhone 4's ability to Multitask which allows switching off the apps not currently in use to increase performance. With Multitasking, you can now instantly switch between any of your apps while preserving battery life. Folders facilitate organisation of your apps into collections by simply dragging one app on top of another.
This phone is an excellent tool and is a brilliant multimedia device to carry around with you - you can listen to music or audiobooks, watch video, play games, social network and surf the net. It is slick and worthy of apple's brand name. I highly recommend the iphone 4, (along with the ebay seller that I bought from, the 'Sky Prince', who had it delivered superfast at my request so it arrived in time for my holiday). I can't compare this to the HTC Desire or other Android phone because I've never owned one but I can say that this will take a lot of beating...
