I brought this product as I was going on a trip to China and wouldn't have the time to update it and needed something that was bulky to store all my music.

I love how much space was in the product and I also love the easy mechanics of the ipod classic, I dislike some of the features, for example the photo section displays all your pictures as one big clump under pictures not giving you the option to seperate or section photos or keep them in original folders.

Comparing to an ipod touch or iphone you get what you pay for really, if you want sturdy and bulk data (120, 160, 320 GB) then go for the classic, if you want apps and social go for others.

baught as i need an mp3 for my car- easier to use this than to keep making cd's. I like how easy it is to use, very accessable, the design is okay- nothing special- i would have prefered a touch, but they do not have enough memory space for me. i would have prefered to have a 160 memory but i could not find one that was cheap enough!
all in all it was a very good buy for £83... I would not pay the prices apple put on them as it is farrrr too expensive.
it works well, it is more appealing with a colour screen, but again, if i could not find anything cheap enough with this much space i would have compromised looks for space.

I love the Ipod Classics for two reasons. Their long battery life over their Touch counterparts AND the space you can get for the price. Having already had and filled a 80 gigabyte version I bought back in 2008 which is still running well I decided to treat myself to this slightly bigger version. Apart from being a slightly lighter colour to my old Ipod and including the Genius feature on the internal software it is much the same to my old Ipod. I cannot fault it due to having had one for so many years and I will continue to stick to classics because you get your moneys worth for the fraction of the price compared to the same thing for the iTouch.
