ipod nano 4th generation

great piece of kit easy to use quite a few extra features, very compact good quality, i recommend getting some kind of protective cover for the player coz it is incredibly slim and i suspect would not hold up well to knocks and bumps, i purchased a silicone skin for it and it seems much more sturdy. i was hoping i would not have to downlode itunes for the player and could just use it as a drag and drop drive, to some extent you can but only with pics and voice recordings so i ended up downloading it anyway. Personally i would not use itunes as your primary media source on your computer as in the passed i have noticed it sometimes changes the file types of my music, sometimes even corrupts the files so they will not work at all.
was a bit miffed as i purchased this to use with video files but only seems to support mp4 format and even with this it is rather selective of what it will let u transfer to the player, for this i suggest downloading a file converter especially designed for ipod formats its an easy fix really but it can be a pain in the ass if your in a hurry.
All in all its a brill little player, and there are loads of extra accessories out there that are compatible with it such as docking stations, speakers, mini speakers, travel equipment, car accessories, very versatile. if you can pick one up for less that £60 like i did its well worth the money.

Apple IPODS are one of the style icons of the noughties!
To have a little gizmo that can play tunes and show videos is great.
It's ideal for using in the car via a phono lead or with a FM frequency device such as ITrip.
Get one they're great.

Really pleased with this product. I have never owend one of these before but my partner has a ipod classic. I did buy this as referbished so was a bit scarred about the quality. All i can say is that i had nothing to worry about. Yes it did have a couple of slight scratches on the side but the over all product is amazing.
How did i go so long without one. Enjoy!

Nano ipod 4th generation, very durable brilliant!
Created: 08/08/10
Love it, brilliant memory and long lasting battery! The anodized aluminum finish is also a little different—there's an added step in the process that makes it shinier and brighter than the previous generation's comparatively subdued matte finish. Oddly enough, it actually feels slightly lighter than the last model, though no less solid—this is an extremely durable player. It doesn't bend under pressure from any angle and a nerve-wracking fall onto a hardwood floor had no adverse effects. However, I found that sharp metal objects like keys will leave scratches, while the previous matte Nano showed no scratches under similar abuse. One bit of bad news: People who hated the sharp corners of the last Nano will have to put up with them for at least another year.
