A very origonal music player

The apple IPod Nano 4th Generation is a very good music player. I consider it one of the faces of Apple, having a very original design and functionality. The battery life I would also consider really good, being able to last around 2 days of regular use and storage space is very good, especially considering its size. It is a very light and small MP3 player, but although this some would say is good you can sometimes not actually realise it is in your pocket, which could put it in danger of being left in pockets, while in the wash or being damaged. The scroll wheel I think is a little bit small, because often you will find it a task to keep your finger on the touch pad while scrolling through menus, but this could just be becuase of the size of the actual player. This small size also gives it a very delicate feel, and it might actually be quite resilient, but when you hold it you get a fear that it can snap in half if you drop it. So since it is not particularly weighty I would advise getting a silicon case just to bulk it up a little and remind you it is there.
All in all I think that the IPod nano is a very good Mp3 player, with a very simple layout, but still allowing access to functions like the music player, video player, photo viewer, stopwatch, calendar games and more.

Great ipod, with more features than earlier models

Great little ipod, good screen, but falls behind 5th generation, which has video camera, wide screen, pedometer etc, but if its basic functions you want, this is great, music, podcasts and video, if storage size important, check out how many tracks you can fit on and ensure you get the right one.

Looks Slick! But Gets Scratched Easily!
Created: 27/01/10
The iPod Nano 4th Generation is a really cool gadget to be seen with. Its 'slickness' is off the scale thanks to its ultra thin design. It is light as a feather. Sometimes i find it hard to believe that such a small thing can blare out such loud music and store so much stuff! The chromatic colour range gives it that extra slickness. My favourite colours have to be the chromatic green and orange. It just looks so small and cool!
In terms of the actual use of the iPod, it is great overall. However, i have big hands so its a little tricky to use sometimes.. BUT.. i would'nt change the size because its too cool! The shake to shuffle feature is pretty crazy technology where you shake the iPod to change to a random track but i've noticed you have to shake three time pretty damn hard! Wish it was a little easier! Lastly, ive noticed these iPods are very sensitive to scratches and its best to keep them in a protective skin, but this is annoying sometimes because you want to be able to show off the chromatic colour! When jogging the iPod will ineviatably rattle around in your pocket, so it's abit annoying that it gets scratched so easy.
Overall, it looks crazy cool! Shame that it gets scratched a little easy but still a top product from Apple! Hope this was useful!

Apple iPod
Created: 13/06/10
Great looking item, plenty of features and memory etc, my problem is iTunes, not easy to operate, this is my first apple product so maybe its takes a little time, but I am used to just plugging a media player into the computer, 'seeing' the item on screen then copying or sending music direct to the player, itunes is not as simple as that, and it seems quite difficult to delete unwanted items from the iPod - in short, th iPod itself very good, the method of getting media onto it i.e. iTunes not so good

Great birthday Present
Created: 02/12/09
I decided to buy this for my girlfriends birthday. I got the purple one as that is her favourite colour. I felt 8GB was enough for her, although i personally would not want anything less than 16GB. Coverflow feature on this ipod is pretty good with the built in accelerometer. The maze game and the solitaire game are not bad and give you at least 30 mins of fun before you get bored. The ipod is very small, smaller than i imagined. It is very thin and light. The battery life is reasonable. Purchased a separate pair of headphones as i think the apple ones are a bit crap. Overall i would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cheap ipod with reasonable storage space that is also lightweight and small.
