Better Than Audible!

) I bought this device because I wanted to sample Audible books. The choice was either to burn any number of CDs or buy a 'supported' MP3 player. I tried the CDs but never managed to get to the end of the burning process! So, having reviewed the list of 'supported' MP3 players it was clear that what I needed was an iPod — so I bought one. I also bought an excellent pair of over-ear headphones (Bose) with a view to sitting or lying about listening to classic literature. Being a long retired IBM engineer all I can say is that I have never before been so impressed with a piece of technology. This device is small enough to fit into my top pocket, large enough to record any number of books, and powerful enough to lull me to sleep every night. As for Audible books, the key thing for me is not the book but the reader. I might stay awake all night listening to Richard Burton — others send me to sleep in minutes!

this tool, is perfect, it will ultimately replace the CD library, and now provides the source of background material via an iPod player in our lounge instead of a clunky old CD hi-fi.
Excellent quality, great product. Fitted with skull candy headphones it is now giving sterling service.
What we don't think much of is the process of transferring CD tracks to iPod, it is a pain.

brilliant mp3 player, bit expensive as there are just as good mp3 on the market for cheaper. but when you buy an apple, its the aftercare and other features. would recommend to other people
