Another fantastic product from Apple with numerous fun and useful Apps available to make this more than just a music player. The 2nd Generation iPod Touch is fantastic and a cheaper alternative to an iPhone or 3rd/4th generation iPod Touch. If you're not bothered about having a camera or the few extra features that may be available on newer models, go for the 2G Touch! It can be bought far cheaper than the newer genarations (especially on eBay!) so is an absolute bargain if you want a really classy and expensive-looking gadget that has many extras other than just playing music. Essentially, the interface of all iPod Touches is the same so the 2nd Generation, for me, is just as good as any other model. Its not over-complicated but still allows me to take my music and apps with me wherever I go, and i can search the internet wirelessly too! If you're looking for an iPod upgrade at a low price, or want an iPhone/new iPod Touch but can't afford it, at least start off with the 2 Gen iPod Touch! You honestly won't regret your purchase and, like me, will be glued to your iPod Touch all the time!

iPod Touch - 32G
The iPod Touch is a very handy gadget. Aside from carrying the basic function of an iPod, it's also a microphone recorder, web browser, notepad, calculator, inbox, messanger, even a dictionary. Within days of getting mine, I was whizzing away at my iPod, doing things that would normally require one to sit down at home, for example, at college I'd whip out my iPod for a metronome, a chord chart, even reminding me of piano chords, while at work, I'd constantly check facebook and be tweeting away.
The iPod is a must have for any modern, on-the-go types who're constantly looking for ways to make their life easier and more connected. I certainly have with mine.
The only drawback I've found with the iPod Touch is the WiFi capability. Not enough places have a hotspot, and we can only hope that high street stores will discover this oppertunity to drag customers in. Right now, I'm finding myself in the local McDonalds during lunch breaks, checking up on Facebook while munching away.
Whilst it isn't an iPhone, it does what it does best: play music. The touch screen interface is one that makes it the easiest to navigate through your hundred something albums. An optional "Shake to shuffle" feature surprised me (which took me a few days to adjust to - if you forget to lock it while on the move, you'll find yourself listening to 30 songs a second) but is useful nonetheless. Quality of audio is excellent on the iPod Touch, I haven't had a single bad experience whilst plugged in.

The Ipod touch is great for my email, web surfing and even making phone calls using Skype and a headphone set with mic. As an Mp3 player and video player it is great. Add a video cable and it hooks up to the Tv! I would recommend buyer one with the most memory you can afford. Music and video takes up room quickly.
The app store is great and you can as the advert says get an app for almost anything.
I use to own a creative Zen which was a great system but the touch is such a lovely little device I am glad I upgraded!
The only thing I dislike is using itunes. It's not bad but sometimes I wish it would simply appear as a new drive when I plug into the pc. I would the. Just be able to drag files directly onto it.
Overall a great buy, I saved about £100 by buying on eBay!
IPOD TOUCH GOOD OR EXCELLENT
The ipod touch is basically one of the best items that have been made. It can do virtually anything , except from ring people or text people. The is similar to the Iphone , you can search the net play games listen to tunes and watch films. Ovbiously its cheaper than an Iphone because it does not ring people. The thing i would of liked to know before i made the purchase was , what can this device do for me and help my life, i discovered that and it helps me alot. If we go on a trip to Blackpool or somewhere a far distance then i just take my Ipod and listen to music play games or watch movies. I am very glad that a device like this has been made. The Ipod is Apple Mac the only thing thats hard about it is it took me nearly 2 months to know how to get music on the device and nearly a year to get films and games on this device but apart from that its cool i guess.

Not much to say
The ipod touch has got to be the benchmark for personal media players. The size of the screen for watching movies, the touch screen interface and the ease of use are all spot on.
While the 8GB versions could fill up quickly with movies and apps installed, tho higher capacity versions to a lesser or greater degree nullify that scenario.
The worst things I can say about any ipod is they are expensive and that they uses iTunes. Not the best software in the world on a PC but it does the job well even though it is quite slow and resource hungry. The method of using more than one library (for multiple ipods) is archaic to say the least. Alternatives are available though.
Apple sell the best media players available BUT they price them at just about the limit that people will pay. Very clever marketing but bordering on alienating the consumer.
