Belkin F5D8636-4A 300 Mbps 4-Port 10/100 Wireless N Router (F5D8636uk4A)

Bundled router with ISP was very poor, although a branded product. Review of this Belkin was good. Setup was a dream - almost fully automatic. Brilliant. Up and running less than 10 minutes. Good range, no drop-out. Well worth the money.

If only it had a USB port too ( to connect a stand-alone network hard drive)

I purchased this n-standard wifi router as a replacement for a faulty g-standard d-link router. I also bought a new USB n wifi dongle to go with it.

The Router works perfectly. I set it up, entered my ISP connection settings, set security and it worked fine first time and still is.

The only downside to this router is it's not small - but looks is what I'm not after it is performance that matters. This router paired with a correct USB dongle in my house gives me full strength signal from one corner to the opposite (ground floor to 1st floor) and has not faltered yet! I also have a freesat box, Wii and blu-ray player talking to my router via LAN and wireless-g and they had no problem moving to the new router.

Excellent router. I'm getting a much better wireless connection for gaming as I also purchased a Belkin wireless "N" USB adapter for my computer.

My wireless signal reaches a neighbours house three awayfrom mine!

i recently changed from sky's netgear router to this belkin wireless n router.
the difference in speed is phenomenal.
once i had the correct settings, it was a breeze to set up.
I would definitely recommend this router to a friend

Bought this to give access to others in house - hard wired connection until now - first time wireless set up!

Very easy to set up from box - enable security on web once set up access keys using set up helper CD and then 3 laptops accessing internet via network simultaneously in space of 30 - 40 minutes! good user manual and quick start guide.
So far so good! Takes up very little fotprint on desktop. Have yet to check on access range.
