The Belkin F6D4630-4A is a wireless N router which can be used for both wireless and wired connections, as it has four Ethernet ports with a speed of 10/100. The Belkin router is compatible with ADSL, ADSL 2, and ADSL 2+ and the following operation systems: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5. The wireless speed of the Belkin F6D4630-4A reaches up to 150 Mbps and its maximum bandwidth is 20 MHz. The wireless N router is secured with WEP, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK as well as the following firewalls: NAT (Network Address Translation) and SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection). Setting up the Belkin router is relatively simple as the Network Status Display application provides an easy setup assistant and a troubleshooting guide for any errors that may arise when using the device. The Belkin F6D4630-4A is equipped with one external antenna and its maximum operating range is up to 300 m.
