Binatone B350 Automotive GPS Receiver

Having my Medion Sat Nav stolen from an unlocked car I purchased this Binatone B350 unit to replace the Medion.
It was a lot cheaper model than my previous unit but it certainly works just as well.Navigation seems accurate and quickly re-directs when required.
Voice is clear and maps are OK.
I only use it to locate an actual address in a location and find it accurate and very easy to use.
I read several reviews of the model before purchasing and some reviewers complained about it not showing "mini-roundabouts" etc. Where I live these "minis" appear overnight, not even the most expensive units could list those!

In general the unit does what it should at a reasonable price, and unlike the most expensive units its not too expensive to replace it when maps are outdated.
You can virtually replace and start with a brand new unit for virtually the same price as an up-dated map for some models.

Small and compact, easy to carry and very user friendly if you get lost it re-routes you automatically, with full UK maps, touch screen, full postcode search, and safety camera locations included. This is an excellent tool for the money. The fact that it is small is not a problem. Includes maps of the UK and ROI

I bought this really for a "1 trip" thing. It was priced reasonably and came with all cables and window attach thingy. It looks a bit cheap but there again, it is cheap. Having used a TomTom before, I soon got to know how to use it as some features are very similar. I didn't bother much reading the user manual as the writing is very small. I have now taken it on several trips and it works well enough. Sometimes I wonder "why are you taking me this way?" But it does get you there although sometimes not the optimum route. The zoom approach to roundabouts etc, I thought was fantastic. That is a better feature than my Tomtom. So, all in all if you need a satnav cheap and can't afford a Tomtom or Garmin then give this one a go.

I don't do a lot of driving these days but do occasionally have the need for a GPS device and this chance purchase on Ebay fits the bill for me very nicely. Very simple to use(if you read the instructions BEFORE you start) not at all conspicuous in use and invaluable if you're stuck out on the road and need to summon assistance. It's ability to get you to your destination is pretty good to. Having seen the price of this device "New" I would probably have bought one of those had this bargain not surfaced.

I bought this product for general use, it's a bargain for the price but don't expect too many features. Excellent maps and guides and gives close ups when your on roundabouts but wish it would give more notice and details for manouvers such as take junction 1 instead of bear left in 500 yards, overall easy to use but not as advanced as other models- good value considering the cost.
