absolute rubbish, don't bother wasting your money!
if you think you're saving yourself a few pennies by buying this low-priced sat nav, don't bother, it only causes aggro.
the first (and only) time i used this sat nav it took me all around the houses for 265 miles. i was driving from the north west to farnham, surrey. instead of taking the obvious route (m6, m42, m40, m25, m3 etc) it took me to birmingham on the m6 then proceeded to have me drive down the M5 to south wales, then over 2 hours of A roads, via gloucester and godknowswhereelse. literally did a round trip of the UK. It told me that it had calculated the shortest/quickest route, this was NOT the case. trying to programme it to allow me to use alternative motorways did NOT work because there is no ability to do that. you have no choice but to use the route it calculates. it will only re-calculate a sensible route if you just ignore it's directions. you would need a prior knowledge of the motorways you probably need if you were heading to somewhere you've never been before.. if not, you can't trust that this will take you the quickest / most sensible way. pay the extra, get a tom tom or garmin.

I was very unhappy when i got this product home. The touch screen is awful, you touch one button and it thinks its another. One our first trip out (on a 100 mile trip) the device took us around the houses it was almost laughable. The simple m1 - m25 was actually the last thing on its mind and right uoto when we actually got into London,it was still sending me away from where i wanted to go.I did check the settings , it was set to the shortest , fastest route,as this is the only option available. In my opinion, its not worth a penn, let alone what i paid for it. Stay away , pay that little bit extra and get a better brand!!

Got one off these because the one I use to borrow off the daughter would either have leads missing, have a flat battery or could never find the sucker. So for the price I thought what the hell. I’ll have one of my own thank you.Yes it could have a better display and I'm not so keen on listening to what sounds like Steven Hawkins female counter part. But it works, gets me from A to B no fuss, doesn’t keep telling me to keep right on the motorway when what it really means is, don’t turn off, as the borrowed one did. The lead reaches the cigar lighter, because its straight, curly ones are never long enough and easily pull out. I dont know how good it is at updating stuff online, I don’t intend downloading maps or any other impossible stuff, so I cant say if that feature works or not, but what the hell, its only a fraction dearer than a road atlas, and my old 1990’s Atlas still works. In years to come I might not have the latest roads slapped down in some new shopping or industrial centre, but my eyes on signs should sort that one out.
All in all a very good budget sat nav, cost a third of a tank of fuel, and i'll save that over time in not getting lost. Either get one as a spare, or if you've no more money than a road alas, there great.

This little satnav is very good value for money.I found the device to be very easy to use and all the menus are excellent and easy to navigate round. You get a little pen with the satnav and i found that the numbers and letters down the left hand side don't respond very good for example you click on the number 1 and you usually get the number 2 but appart from that its a great device.I have 2 other satnavs and both of them can't even find my house as it was built 5 years ago but this satnav found the house straight away which i found surprising. All in all a very good satnav for the money i would fully recommend it to anyone.
