Binatone Latitude 150 - Small, Simple & Powerfull
Created: 06/03/08
The Binatone Latitude 150 is a really cool looking Walkie. Its features may be simple for some but it perfect for those just want a good, reliable yet simple Walkie.
The charge lasts for at least 30 hours on stand by and if you conserve power by switching it off when they're not in use, it'll last you around a week.
There's around 2-3 hours talk time, which is more than enough.
One thing I noticed most item eBay sellers don't say about this Walkie is that its got a pretty strong belt clip.
The sound quality is exceptional even at long distances. The range is upto 5km but in any well built up area thats around 500-750 metres.
I hope this helps in your decision about this Walkie.

No good in built up areas

These little radios' are very smartly designed. They look modern & are very easy to operate. The power packs & charger unit are a good idea. They also take 3 AAA type batteries (Rechargeable ones being best)What was dissapointing was the coverage. In spite of being advertised as having a range of 3Km, I found that in built up areas, the range was more like 150 Mtrs.

Lightweight, Compact easy to use,for the outlay of these radios and the area coverage approx 2 miles perfect for keeping in touch or emergency use. We purchased these radios solely for that use. My wife has a terminal illness to which I full time care for her, to enable me to get about and do the daily routine jobs in and out of the house these are the perfect way of knowing if my wife needs anything or wants anything doing. I should have purchased these along time ago.Highly recccommend these for anyone in the same posistion as myself and I am sure that these would come in handy for a multitude of other reasons.

I bought these 2 way radios for one reason only my father is limted to the ground floor of the house due to his conditon, these radios keep him in constant communication in the house, if needs be, with my mum whatever the time. The radios are a nice compact size not to small, the buttons on the radio are all accessable(not fiddley) and they found them easy to use.I can't reveiw this item with any great depth of the pros and cons as i don't use them.
