) Quite a good phone for the money and I can't really complain. I bought this phone as it doesn't require an external power source, solely powered by the telecoms cable, which works great for me as I live 100% on solar energy. There's only two things about it that could be better; one is the lcd display - it's not very clear and you have to bob your head up and down to find that "sweet" angle. And secondly, the speaker for the hands free could do with being a little louder. Other than those two things it's a good all round "basic" phone. Nice and easy to set up and all done and ready to use within 5 minutes. What do you want for 11 quid? I'm happy with what I've bought. Sure, if I'd put another 10 quid to it I could have gone cordless or got a whole host of features that I'd never have used, but what would be the point? If I'd owned this phone before and was looking for a replacement, I'd probably buy the same one again.

These phones are great for anyone really, but especially middle-aged and older people. My husband who is partially deaf can easily hear on them. The visual display for caller ID is good. Nice appearance too. Well worth the money.

It's just the job, I've had all sorts of phones over the years, and without having to spend a fortune this time - this fits the bill. Also, the big buttons aren't too big and they don't make you feel like you're 85 like some of the big buttoned designs do! It's a very good basic phone for the home.

This phone is very faint when used hands free. Electric display is very faint.

) the phone to get for handsfree issue especially my mom loves a good old chat but as she is riddled with arthiritus she can not hold the phone for long but with this one she presses the green button and she can chat as long as she wants excellent phone big buttons easy to use a must buy especially for the elderly or impaired. janet taylor
