Album Notes
'Black Country' is the debut album from rock supergroup Black Country Communion. Originally conceived when Joe Bonamassa was helped on stage by former Deep Purple bassist Glenn Hughes in 2009, producer Kevin Shirley asked the pair if they wanted to enter the studio to record an album. Shirley brought in Jason Bonham on drums and Bonamassa asked former Dream Theater member Derek Sherinian to help fill out their sound. The album features twelve tracks with all four members drawing inspiration from their lengthy backgrounds in the world of rock.

Best new rock album to come out in years! The old masters showing the young pretenders how it's done. Rock music should be performed like this, loud and hard with balls! I hope the second album is as good.
