I've had this phone for almost two weeks now and couldn't be happier with it!
I had a touchscreen phone before this but it got really slow and so I decided that I would switch to Blackberry.
The obvious benefit it's got over the 8520 is 3G - And you can really tell the difference between the two when surfing the web! 3G is much much faster :) However, the battery does tend to drain quicker with it - Which is why I leave it on 2G when not surfing the web then switch to 3G when I need to :)
Blackberry OS 6 is very easy to use and looks much more modern than previous Blackberry software, which looked quite outdated.
Camera quality is good, nothing WOW but it's good enough for me. If you want to take professional pics, you should invest in a proper camera and not a phone though, right? ;)
The white version, which I got, looks lovely and sleek.
So overall, I would highly recommend this phone!

I came back to Blackberry after a brief flirtation with an android touch screen. I just prefer the functionality of the Blackberry although may try a touch screen model at some future point. Suits my needs perfectly and improved upon than the old 2G with faster browsing. Good camera and easy to export photos. Easy to use.Very happy indeed!

Review for: BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 - Graphite grey (Virgin Mobile) Smartphone
This Blackberry is very unique and it is a very fast phone, which helps me to connect with friends and family abroad. I can also use the internet and download great apps which have helped me significantly.

The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is an uninspiring, but perfectly adequate, update to the Curve smart-phone range. Its 3G connectivity is a welcome addition, but a disappointingly unresponsive trackpad is a real letdown.
The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is a perked-up version of the entry-level BlackBerry Curve 8520, with 3G connectivity and slightly more oomph under the hood. But its trackpad is frustrating, and it offers absolutely nothing to get excited about. Overall, the Curve 3G is the definition of 'decent but dull'.
It's hard to get excited about a phone that only offers minor upgrades to what came before, and relies on a future software update for its only innovative feature. But, if you're looking for a perfectly adequate BlackBerry that ticks all the boxes, there's not much wrong with the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300. Its trackpad is as responsive as a sloth, though, so, if you can stump up the cash for a beautiful BlackBerry Bold 9700, we'd suggest getting that instead.
