    When i got the Hard drive, it was very well pact together in the box it came in, and looked very professional.

    So being a typical guy, i left the instruction manual on the table and set it up and running upstairs on my Laptop and JTAG xbox.

    I plugged it into the mains and into my laptop, and the first thing i noticed was there were files on it... and i thought that was odd as it was "Supposed to be" plug and play...

    So i started up a file and my AVG poped up Staight Away!! and said "This program/file contains worms, would you like to remove" (its was just a weak virus) so i pressed YES OF CAUSE!! :-P

    Aaaaaaanyway afterwards..... i got rid of all the other sh*ty un-needed software on it and placed some music files and images (like you would) and it ran perfectly fine. :) its abit slow though sometimes when i plug it in but its good and it does the trick... AND most of all its not fake and it really does have 1000gb of space.. Unlike some ive seen and used on ebay. ;-)

    Bought this Hard drive as I have a lot of craft files and photos taking up vital space on my computer.
    It is brilliant, easy to use, just plug it in and away it goes.
    No complicated software you need to worry about either.
    This is the first External Hard drive I have bought but would recommend to others.

    The Buffalo has done all I have asked of it which was to free up my hard drive to take more D/loads, and move files to the TVs around the house and other locations.

    Excellent unit. Easily connected and operated, no excess cables dangling about, fed direct from USB. Huge capacity to hold all back up details, photos, etc., yet small enough to keep stored in a drawer between usage.

    Works well, quick installation via it's plug and play features which is a standard. Although not recommended I configured 3gb of virtual memory to the drive and my laptop is running a little smoother.

    Con: The fact that it has to be plugged in to a power supply does not make it so mobile.

    Haven't even used it for an hour yet so cannot give any advanced reviews --
