Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for Sony PlayStation 3

I got into gaming very late. The only gaming systems around when I grew up were the little bars either side of the screen, knocking a ball back and forth!
However, having kids of my own, the PS3 became part of the houshold.
Then, as I read the reviews, I thought I would give Call of Duty a go. I started with Call of Duty 5;World at War. I was blown away with the graphics, and the graphic content!
I bought Call of Duty 6; Modern Warfare 2, and then found it was a follow on from a previous story, so I bought this one. All of them were purchases off eBay, as I refuse to pay the ridiculously high prices for the "most recent release!"

Call of Duty; Modern Warfare is an absolutely addictive game. My partner has become another Call of Duty widow! The missions get harder, and harder. The storyline engrosses you. Before you know it, two hours have gone past! In fact Modern Warfare is better than World at War, in thet each checkpoint is shorter, so you can stop, save and quit, at more points through out the game.. but it is just so hard to stop!

Where World at War is better than Modern Warfare is in the split screen multi-player mode, where you can involve you partner. In World at War you have to work together to complete the same stages as in the solo game. However, note that it never saves your progress, you can only get to have more choice of each of the levels by unlocking them in solo mode.

In Modern Warfare, you can only play one on one against other, or in pairs (you can have up to 4 players on split screen), just killing each other. Which is not what we want (cos she kills me everytime!).

I am told Modern Warfare 2 has the co-op campaign like World at War on the Black Ops section, but I have not tried this out yet.

In any case the solo game is awesome enough to make it a worthwhile component of any games collection.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was the beginning of a legendary age of games. With it's simplistic yet accurate game physics mixed with great graphics and team play allows the player to play hours on end as the fun never seems to stop.
Completely addictive, playing with friends or with random players the game allows a sense of progress as you level up, increasing your selection of guns as abilities as a soldier.

Hello! I recently bought a really cool game! This is "Call Of Duty 4, Modern Warfare"! I did buy this game, because I heard a lot about CoD 4, and everything what I heard was positive! Belive it or not, but I don't know a single man or woman, who would say something negative about this game!
According to many experts, magazins and reviewers this is Game of the Year by miles!!!
It has good main story, amazing graphics and everything looks very, very realistic!
This is one of games, which known in every country in the world! And it is just have to be in Your collection of games!

Great game, campaign is awesome, one of the best in the call of duty series in my opinion, However you don't really have to put many hours into the game to complete it. Never the less, the multi-player is the main factor in this game as you can spend hours on end ranking up and unlocking new guns, camos and explosives etc.. Well worth getting or even renting from your local store, After all this game did win 'Game of the year' so why not? Check it out.

Although now an old version of Call of Duty this is by far one of the best in the series. All CoD fans must own this game as it is one the best FPS games out there and can be purchased very cheaply.
