with a wide f/2 and image quality to rival some L series glass, for the money, weight and quality you can't go wrong especially on cropped sensors as this offers a good approximation to the standard 50mm lens and has far superior IQ than the 28mm f/1.8.

The main problem with the lens is the noise it makes when auto-focusing but if you can get over that, the lens will be a brilliant asset to your gear, a decent wide perspective and the image quality is good too.

This lens is light, and versitile. I had used other lenses but wanted a low f/ and the f/2 didn't disappoint. Great at low light and relatively faster that the 50mm f/1.8.
