Casio MX-8 Basic Calculator

I bought three of these basic calculators recently. One for the workshop and two to have around the house. They are so inexpensive and convenient to use with a big clear display, photo cell power and battery back up. The only problem I have come across is down to me and not the calculator, one of the functions eludes me. That's the MU key, I don't know what it does or how it works and the instructions were no help. But it matters little because If I don't know what it does, I don't need it!

Basic, eight digit, seven segment display, desktop calculator with angled display. Both battery and solar powered. Price around £6.

Well I bought this calculator last week..I m a jeweler so I use calculators every day at work.This calculator is very smart in white color and a big screen,big buttons also.Two way power,on/off buttons.The only thing made me puzzled is that when I have to make a discount to a customer I want to enter the price,press the discount amount and then "-" and I imediatly get the final price as I do with my old casio calculator,while with this one when I enter the price,the, I enter the discount percentage I get the difference between the amounts and not the final price,then I have to do another reduction and its a bit silly.

In general its a nice calculator.

The casio mx-8 is probably the most practical desk calculator in the world.

Functional, durable, good size and does exactly as it says on the tin.

Dont waste time looking for the calculator, buy a few mx-8s,, a calculator the world can count on!

I was very happy with this calculator, basic but does what you need it to do. Good sized key pad and a large display.
I would recommend this product.
