This is about all the adventures that a mouse called Midge gets up to with his friend Mungo the dog. After they leave the flat that they live in using the elevator in there own special way. They go out to discover the world around them. Timeless I bought this for my three and a half year old son for Christmas and his older sister loves it as well. This was Animated by John Ryan who also Wrote and Animated the original 1974 Captain Pugwash. Cardboard sliders and split-pins were used to create the movement wonderful classic idea still charming to this day. Features all of the thirteen episodes ever made. Enjoy the adventures of Mary, her dog Mungo and Midge the little mouse. The only disappointing thing is there are not really any extras but to have all these wonderful episodes on one disc is reward itself this has past the test of time my two Kids love it. These Kultkids classics seem to disappear and become deleted after about three years I have noticed so do wait to long and have to pay a fortune later.

This dvd helps bring back memories of a childhood when life seemed so innocent and fun.
Can also show new generations to a time when life seemed innocent and less to owrry about.
I remember this series and just decided to buy it to bring back memories of my childhood and to relive those golden and innocent moments that seem to be now lost.
The series have a good storyline by combining the entertaining adventures of a Mary, her pet dog Mungo and a mouse called Midge with everyday things children could relate to and in a situation (although based around and from a 70s tower block) that many could easily relate to.

I remember watching this as a child and loving the stories and characters. It is not based on a fairytale but real life-a little girl who lives on the top floor of a block of flats.I've now bought it so my 3 yr old Daughter can watch it and enjoy the antics of the Characters and share in my memory. This is classic childrens TV at it's best.
