Dell Latitude D420 12.1" 1.2 GHz Laptop PC

I bought this laptop for my 6 year old daughter as she likes to play kids games like moshi monsters and I didn't want her using mine all the time! It was a great purchase and has worked perfectly since we bought it. I was really pleased with the price and despite a few problems with the delivery the product has turned out to be first class. I would highly recommend it as a first computer or for light home use.

This is my second D420 - I'm a fan. I run one on Windows XP and the other on Windows 7. The 420 is much more compact and lightweight than my 610 or the D630. I also have a PR09S docking station with a built in DVD drive slot which is useful when loading software from CD. The big plus is that you can pick these up for less than £100 so they're ideal for the kids and if they drop it it's not a major outlay to replace it.

Great little laptop/netbook 1.2 dual core = 2.4 works well in the car as a mobile pc and sat nav at the same time plus with the mobile broadband card installed you can go online on the move. I would say great for the price i do not have a bad word to say about it. Im running windons 7 ultimate on it and have a Bluetooth gps receiver running with it and i love it works great.

Bought this for my 7 year old, he loves it and is never off of it. Uses it for browsing the internet and playing games, facebook etc. Extremly portable and easy to set up and use. Excellent laptop

Very portable, but if you get the version without the cd drive it can complicate things a lot. Very lightweight as well
