Electrolux Z61A Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

I had my Electrolux Z61A for two years now and it's only had very light usage, probably used about 12 times to vacuum out my car, which by no means gets very dirty, as I'm an office based electrical design engineer and I have no pets. Recently I had noticed the motor brushes had started to spark more than usual, so no problem I thought, I'll strip the vac down and order a replacement set - WRONG! Electrolux don't sell replacement brushes for this. The worn brushes themselves were, in my opinion, very very soft carbon, and had worn out and crumbled away with very little use over the two years I had it. The vac has now been binned. Now I'm trying a Hunter HT807 which has not been reviewed on here, but has had some good customer reviews elsewhere. Conclusion: very poor value for money, give this one a miss and try something else.

Having read quite a few good reviews for the electrolux Z61A i decided to take the plunge and buy one for a very reasonable £45.Having used it to clean a very dirty ford focus today it coped extreamly well bringing the seats up like new. The crevice tool worked really well and suction levels were great. I think it could possibly get a little heavy after prolonged use and a slightly longer flexible hose for the crevice tool would be good. But over all an excellent product.

This is a great little item, I wasn't sure about how well it would pick up, being so small, but it is fantastic, great for use on stairs and for small hoovering jobs. Superb for those who have moulting dogs as it makes quick work of dog hair. Unexpectedly powerful for an item of this size. Very easy to empty. Definitely recommend this, worth every penny.

Bought this for hoovering both our cars, very good at this, the revolving brush cleans great and suction is very good.
Bonus was we now use it to hoover the stairs, much easier than using the Dyson with extension tools.
Would recommend to anyone.

This vac has great suction. It is great for use on the stairs, much easier than using an upright and it's great in the car. The suction direction can be changed for the uprights on the stairs. A cracking little vac.
