The Epsom Stylus printer SX200
Created: 05/03/10
The Epsom SX200 is everything I was expecting it to be, it meets all my needs and as a card crafter I needed my new printer to give me a high printing quality finish.
It also serves me well for my digital photo prints and the quality of the photos are excellent. The card slot is in a very accessible front of machine position.
Changing the inks is a very simple task that can be done in a jiffy and the fact that each ink is a seperate cartridge means you only need change the colour that has run out not all of them.
The scanner is very good quality producing an exact copy matching colour for colour exactly. It is also very simple to use with ease of access to the panel on the top of the machine.
It is a nice looking machine with a lovely black gloss finish and looks very smart on my desk, overall I would highly recommend the Epsom SX200n printer copier scanner a machine that does exactly what it says and great value for money too!

If your looking for a good all round printer this is the one for you.
Its easy to set up as the instructions are straight forward. The quality of the photos are really really good. One of the main reasons I bought this was because the inks colours come in separate cartridges for each colour so I only have to replace them usually one at a time. I holds up to 90 sheets of A4 paper a one go. I cleans the ink nozzels automatically. Their is an instruction booklet that you can access online if you should get stuck. This is real value for money.

Epson stylus sx200 cheap to run and well cheap!!!
Created: 25/10/09
i bought this printer as a replacement for my faulty sx100 before i returned it and was half expecting the same poor print quality. however upon using it found that the print quality was fantastic! with the capability to print 4 pages of paperwork for an item sold it was perfect for me. no more waiting round for that postage label before i could go to the post office on a saturday with only ten minutes to spare! I also found that i could buy really cheap cartridges for the printer to. £7.99 for 4 complete sets! when the black ink starts to run low this printer will very cleverly give you the option to use ink from other cartridges along with the black ink to prolong the cartridge life. i think it is called composite black mode. as i did notice the black ink always seems to run out faster than the other 3 ink's it was quite a handy function to have meaning you can squeeze an extra 30 or so documents out before having to replace the cartridge!
also has card slots on it so you can print direct from your camera card! only thing it is missing is a small tft screen so you can choose which photos to print and not to print!
what more can i say, it's all in one and is the cheapest to run printer i have ever owned! wether for fun or business this printer is a must have purchase!

A good economical piece of kit..

Although we have huge laser printers scattered about the building, I need something low cost and compact to print out the occasional email, test sheet, etc.
This printer does it all! Very noisy, but it prints what I want, when I want it, and does it quite quickly.. Instead of the cubic metre size of our laser printers,(we do print runs of 12,000 colour prints per day per printer) it just fits nicely into a little bit of spare space on the top of my desk. The copier and scanner are excellent. I've always had Epson inkjet printers because of their reliability and ease of use, and this one keeps up the good work.

THE EPSON STYLUS SX200 PRINTER,FAX AND COPIER {SCANNER} IS A VERY GOOD PRINTER, HOWEVER S/HAND UNITS NEED SOME WORK USUALY.FAILING TO PRINT, BLANK A4 SHEETS COMEING OUT AND MESSAGES SAYING CARTRIDGE NOT RECOGNISED, ALL A PAIN ! IVE JUST ORDERED A REPAIR DISC AS A LOT IF NOT ALL OF THESE FAULTS ARE DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE OWNERS TO BUY A NEW PRINTER OR SEND IT TO EPSON FOR REPAIR {£25 APPARENTLY} HENCE THE FAULT FIND REPAIR DISC AVAILABLE ON EBAY AT £6.99 IS A GOOD INVESTMENT I THINK. TO CONCLUDE IF YOU CAN AFFORD A NEW SX200 THEN THATS THE BEST ROUTE, IF LIKE ME YOUR ON A BUDGET THE S/H SX200 IS A GOOD BUY FOR UP TO A TENNER PLUS £10 CARR BUT NO MORE THAN A TENNER AS THEY ARE STILL AVAILABLE NEW OR REFURBISHED AT AROUND £30.00 THE PRINTED RESULTS FROM THE SX200 ARE GOOD AND THE COMPATABLE CARTRIDGES DO WORK FINE. EPSON CARTRIDGES ARE A RIP OFF AT £30.00 FOR 4 {AVE} COMPATABLES ARE THE WAY TO GO IF YOUR ON A BUDGET. I PURCHASED MINE £15.00 FOR 30 AND THEY ARE GREAT. I NOW OWN TWO SX200 AND PURCHASED THEM BECAUSE THE CARTRIDGES ARE CHEAP {COMPATABLES ON EBAY} I DONT PAY EPSONS PRICES.
