Epson Stylus SX600FW All-in-One Inkjet Printer

i had two of these one at home and one at work neither now work used daily for 2 years then that's it fatal error appears done everything possible to fix nothing works so certainly would not recommend if using for high work load

I was hoping that this printer will be a good addition to my home office.

Pros:
- Multi page scanner feed
- Fax
- Easy copying
- Wireless
- Fast scan and print

Cons:
- Expensive cartridges
- 15-20% ink left in the cartridge when error asking to replace
- Very noisy
- High energy consumption
- Awkward wireless setup
- no paper storage
- menu slow response
- stupid confirmation each time try to turn off
- When turn on long time before ready
- No real duplex printing. If you want to print on both sides of a sheet you need to print on side first then turn them around correctly and print again. So no duplexer
- on images it looks quiet as one piece but each time you want to print you have to pull out paper tray then open paper feed and load paper. Trays tend to stuck so you have to pay attention each time you do it.
- Draft print unreadable!!! Epsom wants me to use more in if I want to read draft documents

I have had many printers and currently have three running. Epsom is nice looking but missing on some major things. It might be fun for someone using a printer as a decoration or to print out an email from time to time. Good for copying though. If you want to really use it then this printer gets in the way where you want to be.

I've recently had two touch screen HP Photosmart printers which are worst than Epson.

The only printers that are perfect are two Canons Pixma that I have. And I'm not attached to brand.

Brilliant printer.....bought this to replace my good ol' faithful Epron S20, which sadly wouldn't work correctly after having it for about 2 years.....and the SX600 is probably the best printer i have ever used or even seen used. Outstanding print quality

Excellent printer to date, working very well and produces good prints.

It is a neat and stylish looking machine and I like the idea of the top being able to be shut when not using the fax and being able to tilt the control panel at an angle that suits you.

I bought this item because I have faith in Epson equipment having used them now for several years. I have always found them reliable and cheap to run.
